The Contented Sole is set in an 18th century building situated at the end of the High Street in Burnham-on-Crouch, close to the river. The restaurant has been established since 1965 and has become renowned for its fine dining and high standards.
Under the new management of Andrew Hemingway, Stuart Burbidge and Hamid Salah, The Contented Sole is being rejuvenated to the original standards which earned the restaurant an enviable reputation in Burnham-on-Crouch and the surrounding area.
With over 50 years of experience between them, including tutelage from household names such as Michel Roux and Antony Worrall Thompson, the trio will provide you with excellent food at reasonable prices.
Cookery classes during off peak times of the year, learn to cook a selection of dishes from our menu and then sit down, relax and enjoy the results, Please book early.
